  Mrs. Elizabeth Blake was an industrious, kind-hearted woman. She got married and moved to Pennsylvania for some time, but returned to Virginia after the untimely death of her husband, Mr. Blake. After caring for her mother for 10 or 15 years, Mrs. Blake died following a short illness in 1924, in the same house where she was born, and she was buried in the old family burying ground nearby, on the farm of Mr. C. (Reliability: 3). Mrs. Elizabeth Blake died at her home near Etian March 4, J 924, after un illness of three weeks, aged 6b years. She was born March 4, 1958, and died March 4, 1924, having passed away on her birthday anniversary. She whs born, lived a greater portion of her life and died in the same home. She lived for some time in Pennsylvania and her husband died during their sojourn there. She had been living with her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Thomas, who is 91 years old, whosurvives her,'for the last 10 or 15 years. Mrs. Blake had been sick for a week or two, and was on the road-to recovery when she sustained a relapse with complications, which caused her. death. She was an industrious, kind-hearted woman and the mainstay of her aged mother fdr many years. She leaves 'besides her mother and three children, one brother, Mr. John Thomas, of Pennsylvania, who attended the funeral, and two sisters, Mra, Peyton Partlow, of Brightwood, and Mrs. Ballgy, of Culpeper. Mrs. "Blake was buried Thursday afternoon, March 6, in the old family burying ground near her home and on the farm ofMr. C. B. Call. Rev. Roy Jones conducted the service presence friends. of many B relatives is the and John T. Weaver John T. Weaver, whose death was reported in the Eagle, last week, was a son of Madison Weaver. He had lived for many years near Rhoadesville, and was a prominent citizen of that county, held in great respect by all who knew h'lm. He was an active end official member of the Christian church at Unionville, and his pastor, Rev. Marshall Winfield, conducted ? the service at the Brightwood church, | and paid the deceased a beautiful, a t ribute. Members of the family accompanied the hotly from Rhoadesville, as well as other friends. Besides his wife (nee Eliza Tucker), the deceased leaves two sisters and one brother living near Rhoadesville, and a second brother in West Virginia. Mr. Weaver was a man well along in years.
