Mrs. Sarah Margaret McAlister Berry of Etlan, daughter of the late James and Eliza McAlister, the widow of the late John W Berry, was born October, 1856, and died Sunday, March 3, 1940, at 3:15 p. m. After tn rcc years of declining health she was stricken with the' third stroke and never recovered. To this union were born nine children. her to the grave four of whom preceded She is survived by one son, A hby L. Berry, of Etlan; Mrs. Ella F. Leathers, of Sy11a; Mis Rosa E. Brown, Mrs. Jenie W. Utz and Mrs Nellie M. Sprows, of Elian. Also suviving are twelve grandchildren and six great grand- l children .
